How Does the Test Work?
The test takes 165 minutes (2 hours and 45 minutes) in total. The Writing, Reading and Listening tests will be done on the same day with no breaks given. The Speaking test may occur up to 7 days before the other tests or up to 7 days after.
You may decide to have the IELTS test on paper, on a computer, or even online depending on your country of residence.
